While children are working on a project they will explore and build upon many developmental areas such as: social/emotional concepts – sharing and turn taking while working with other, building relationships, problem solving and regulating emotions. They will also development, early- literacy and numeracy skills – setting plans, drawing, writing, researching and phonological awareness as well as using number and math concepts, language development, talking, listening and communications skills along with self-help, independence and developing critical thinking skills.
